K'taka Governor greets people for Ayudha Puja

Bangalore, Oct 19 (UNI) Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Ayudha Puja and Vijayadasami.

In his message, he said ''the festival, which represents victory of good over evil, reminds all of us to develop a sense of fairness and fearlessness to fight against all odds and social evils so as to strengthen our secular social fabric.'' ''Let us pledge to uphold the basic ethos of our culture and work for peace and harmony and common well-being of us all,'' he added.

Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly N Dharam Singh also greeted the people of the State on the occasion.
