Hemaram to be new Rajasthan CLP leader

New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) Mr Hemaram Choudhary will be the leader of the Congress Legislature Party of poll-bound Rajasthan.

Party chief Sonia Gandhi cleared the name of Mr Choudhary for the post here today, AICC general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said in a release.

Mr Choudhary replaces Mr Ram Narain Choudhary who had resigned this week.

Earlier, the Congress President had also replaced Pradesh Congress Committee chief B D Kalla, appointing CP Joshi to the post.

The assembly polls in the state are due next year.
