CPI(M) leader stabbed to death in AP

Khammam, Oct 19 (UNI) Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader and Municipal Councillor was stabbed to death by some unidentified persons at Kothagudem town in the district tonight.

Police said they attacked K Vasantha, 20th ward councillor of Kothagudeam municipality and district CPI(M) leader and stabbed her.

She succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

The incident occurred when Ms Vasantha was leaving for her house from the market.

No arrests were made so far. Efforts were on to nab the culprits, police added.
