Chill returns to Delhi; Minimum drops to 16.5 degrees C
New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) Delhi today experienced a chilly morning with the minimum temperature dipping to 16.5 degrees Celsius, a degree below normal.
For three consecutive days till yesterday, the national capital was witnessing normal minimum temperatures at 18 degrees, keeping chill at bay.
However, the maximum temperature remained steady at 31.6 degrees, a degree below normal.
Weatherman said the chill will continue over the weekend.
The Met office has forecast that the minimum temperature will remain at around 16 degrees tomorrow.
The Met office has also forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the possibility of slight haze in the morning.
