Bag containing hand grenade found in Howrah station

Howrah, Oct 19 (UNI) A bag, belonging to an Assam Rifles' jawan and carrying a hand grenade, was found in Howrah station today.

The GRP officials here have informed that the grenade had been defused by the bomb disposal squad.

However, the jawan was still missing. The GRP forces are continuing with their search for the missing jawan, who had left his bag containing lethal weapons ungaurded in a civil area.
