301 investors confirm participation for MP Summit

Bhopal, Oct 19 (UNI) Participation has been confirmed by 301 investors, including more than 100 foreign ones, in the two-day Global Investors' Summit scheduled to get underway on October 26 at Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital Indore, official sources said.

The list was released today. Young managers from the Indian Institute of Management and Institute of Management Studies would be an integral part of the proceedings to be attended by 41 investors from the United Kingdom, 37 from the United States, eight from the United Arab Emirates, five each from China and Finland, two from Switzerland, one each from Malaysia, Mauritius and Singapore.

The event would be inaugurated at 1030 hrs in the vicinity of Hotel Fortune Landmark on October 26. The hour-long first sectoral presentation would get underway at 1230 hrs and witness presentations on agriculture, food-processing, environment, forests, herbs, information technology, minerals, housing and urban development.

The two hour-long second sectoral presentation would begin at 1430 hrs and focus on infrastructure, tourism, industry, storage, education, health and health tourism. From 1430-1800 hrs, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would have one-to-one meetings with entrepreneurs. From 1630-1730 hrs, entrepreneurs would meet senior ministers and officials.

The following day, memoranda of understanding would be inked from 1030-1200 hrs in the Chief Minister's presence.
