2 Harkat militants killed in Kashmir

today
gunned
down
two
militants
of
the
Harkat-ul-Mujahideen
in
an
encounter
in
north
Kashmir's
Bandipora
district,
police
said.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Baramulla, Dr B Srinivas said troops of 57 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and police cordoned of Lovdara village in Bandipora district last evening.
On seeing the approaching troops, the militants opened fire on them with automatic weapons, he added. The fire was effectively retaliated and in the ensuing gun-battle, two militants were killed, Dr Srinivas said.
