Pak SC resumes hearing plea against Musharraf
Islamabad, Oct 18: Pakistan Supreme Court today resumed hearing on petitions challenging the candidacy of President Parvez Musharraf to contest the presidential election held on October 6.
Justice Javed Iqbal is heading the 11-judge bench which was constituted to hear fresh petitions challenging Gen Musharraf's candidature.
Presidential aspirants Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed and PPP Vice Chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim had petitioned the apex court to invalidate the nomination of the military ruler, reported Geo TV.
