Tanker overturns: 3 killed, 7 injured

Robertsganj, Sonebhadra, Oct 17: At least three people, including a student, were killed and seven others were grievously injured after a tanker overturned in Pipri area of Sonebhadra district.

The incident took place late last night, when the tanker overturned on a busy street, killing passersby, who were identified as Sangeeta (15), Kaushlendra Pandey (33) and Raj Kumar (27), on the spot.

Seven people were severely wounded and had been admitted to a hospital, where the condition of three was stated to be critical, police said.
