Temple dedicated to Gandhi

Erode, Oct 14 2007: The small, sleepy town of Salangapalayam in Erode District of Tamil Nadu boasts of being the home to a unique temple that is dedicated to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Everyday in the morning and evening two Pujas are performed at the temple.

Probably this is the only temple of its kind in the world where Gandhiji is worshipped like God.
