Rupee opens weak at 39.34/36 per USD

Mumbai, Oct 16: The rupee today opened slightly weak by about five paise against US dollar at 39.34/36 per dollar as compared to the previous close of 39.30/31 per dollar.

The local unit was trading in a tight range of 39.31 and 39.36 per dollar in a less active inter-bank foreign exchange (Forex) market, dealers said.
