Yedi demands dissolution of K'taka Assembly
Haveri, Karnataka, Oct 15: Former Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today demanded dissolution of the State assembly to enable early mid-term poll in Karnataka.
Speaking at a press conference here he said that BJP had decided to go for a fresh mandate and wondered whether Congress and the JD(S) had a heart to face early polls.
He ridiculed the former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy seeking apology with the people for not transferring the power to BJP. "This is nothing but a drama and it is a shame on part of Mr Kumaraswamy," he Said.
The former DCM said as a Finance Minister he had given very good budget for two years and spent 'all his time' doing pro-people work.
'Irked' by his two pro-people and pro-farmers' budget, JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda betrayed the BJP by not transferring the power as per the pact, he said.
