Woman kills kids, self

Shivpuri, MP, Oct 15 (UNI) A 25-year-old dalit woman doused herself and her two children with kerosene and set it alight at their residence in this district's Manikpur village this afternoon, police said.

Rajkumari Jatav bolted the door from inside, doused Rinku (3), Ankesh (5) and herself. Neighbours observed smoke and broke down the door but it was too late. The woman's husband was not at home.

Villagers said that Rajkumari was mentally unsound. The couple worked as labourers.

The corpses were sent for post mortem to the District Hospital.
