Swamy states measures to dissuade terrorists
Chennai, Oct 15 (UNI) Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy has come out with an eight point-plan to dissuade terrorists from targeting India.
In a statement here today, he said he has detailed the deterrent actions in his forthcoming book to be published by Haranand.
He said the Congress-led UPA Government was a ''monumental failure'' in dealing with terrorism and the government lacked a counter-terrorist strategy that had a dimension of deterrent retaliatory action.
Dr Swamy alleged that the Finance Minister P Chidambaram's insistence on continuing with participatory notes, despite SEBI protest, helped terrorists make windfall profits in the Mumbai stock market.
