Mah: RSS to hold Dussera function on Oct 20

Nagpur, Oct 15: The annual Dussera rally of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be held here on October 20.

Dr Jagmohan Singh Rajput, former director of the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), would be the chief guest at this year's function, a spokesman for the RSS said.

Sarsanghachalak K S Sudershan would preside the function, he added.

The annual rally of the RSS was traditionally held on Dussera morning, but there had been a departure for the past few years with the function now being held earlier.

The organisation usually held the rally on the Sunday immediately preceding the festival, but this time it would be held on the Saturday as Dussera is on the Sunday (October 21), the spokesman added.
