Police constable commits suicide

Lucknow, Oct 15 (UNI) A police constable committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Transport Nagar area of Meerut City last night, reports today said.

On October 8, Manoj Kumar (35), who was posted at Mirzapur police station in Saharanpur district, had come to his home.

The reason for him taking the extreme step was still to be ascertained, police said.

An investigation is on.
