UP: Mysterious disease kills 2, 6 critical

Robertsganj, Oct 15: At least two persons have died of a mysterious disease in the last 24 hours here.

Meanwhile, six others were still battling for life, Chief Medical officer DR P K Sinha said here today.

According to Mr Sinha, the victims, Ramdev (32) and Vijay (23) first complained of stomachache and were taken to hospital, where later succumbed.

The affected people worked as labourers at a stone crusher unit in Budhar area.

The exact cause of death was still being ascertained.
