SINGAPORE, Oct 15 (Reuters) Mangalore Refinery&Petrochemical Ltd (MRPL) has sold via tender two fuel oil cargoes for November/December loading at record-high prices amid tight supply, traders said on Monday.

The two 380-centistoke (cst) parcels of 80,000 tonnes each, among the six sold by the state refiner, went to Westport Petroleum International at a discount of around $1.70 a tonne to Singapore spot quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.

MRPL also sold four similar parcels, for January to April loading from its New Mangalore refinery, to Chemoil and Vitol respectively at a discount of $3.50 a tonne to spot quotes and a $3.70-discount, FOB.
