Journalist dies in MP

Balaghat, MP, Oct 15 (UNI) Journalist and wildlife expert Sudesh Pauranik -- who was honoured by President A P J Abdul Kalam in 2003 for wildlife conservation work -- has passed away at this district headquarters following cardiac arrest, sources said.

He was 48.

The end came yesterday. Mr Pauranik is survived by his wife, son and daughter. The pyre was lit by son Kshitij. Mr Pauranik had several books to his credit including 'Madhya Bharat Kshetra Ke Pramukh Vanya Jeev' (The Principal Animals of Central India).
