Giant 'laddu' for Goddess Durga on Dasara

Vijayawada, Oct 15 (UNI) A city-based devotee offered a 100-kg laddu to Goddess Durga on the occasion of Dasara at Sri Kanakadurga Temple here.

The huge laddu was offered to the Goddess as 'Naivedyam' last evening, a temple official told UNI here.

The laddu would be put under the hammer this afternoon, he added.

Thousands of devotees thronged the temple last night for offering the prayers to the Goddess in the form of Gayatri Devi.
