Eight arrested for immoral trafficking

Kochi, Oct 15 (UNI) Police arrested eight people including four women on charges of immoral trafficking here today.

The arrested were Mahesh (37) his wife Rejitha (28), allegedly running the racket, and hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, Sudheeh (26) from Mala, Eldo Mathew (34) from Ernakulam and Baji (35) from Thiruvananthapuram. The arrests were made following a raid in an apartment complex.

The other three were Sneha (25), Veena (27) and Parthu (33) from Karnataka. They were arrested under sections three, four, five and seven of IPC.

Police said the arrested would be produced before a court tomorrow.
