Digvijay for probe into mining contracts

Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, Oct 15 (UNI) Congress General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh today demanded an inquiry into mining contracts awarded by the state's Bharatiya Janata Party government.

''Over the past four years, the regime has given valuable mines on lease to inexperienced people who are hoarding capital. According to information available with me, even ministers are involved in the business,'' he told mediapersons here.
