Citi CFO says an SIV support plan would be helpful
NEW YORK, Oct 15 (Reuters) Citigroup Inc Chief Financial Officer Gary Crittenden said on Monday a plan by banks to shore up structured investment vehicles, or SIVs, could provide reassurance for investors.
He said the concept is a good one for the debt markets.
''It would be helpful to have other liquidity alternatives for SIVs that are managed in the UK,'' Crittenden said in a conference call with analysts.
