Axis bank Q2 PAT up 60 per cent

New Delhi, Oct 15: Axis Bank today said it has posted 60.45 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 227.82 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007 as against Rs 141.98 crore during the same period last year.

The bank's total income also rose 67 per cent to Rs 2,059.37 crore from Rs 1,230.20 crore during the said period.
