Ajmer aftermath: Red alert in Ujjain Range

Shajapur, MP, Oct 15: A red alert has been sounded in Ujjain Range and a watch is being kept on anti-social elements in the wake of Thursday's blast at the Ajmer mausoleum of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti and in view of Dussehra.

''Patrolling has been stepped up. Vehicles are being searched in border areas adjoining Rajasthan whose police officials are here in connection with the probe into the Ajmer attack. Shajapur, Ujjain and Dewas districts have a SIMI (Students' Islamic Movement of India) presence,'' Deputy Inspector-General (Ujjain Range) Vipin Maheshwari told the sources.
