Singapore throws weight behind Indian candidate

Singapore, Oct 12 (UNI) Singapore today reaffirmed its support for Mr Kamlesh Sharma, India's candidate for the post of Commonwealth Secretary-General.

The support had been reaffirmed by Foreign Affairs Acting Minister Raymond Lim, the Singapore Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom Kamlesh Sharma had called on Mr Lim to present his candidature for the post of Commonwealth Secretary-General.
