Moscow sees "anti-Russian potential" in U.S. shield
MOSCOW, Oct 12 (Reuters) The United States said today it would continue talks with Russia on deploying its missile shield in eastern Europe, while Moscow maintained it could not accept the plan because of its ''anti-Russian potential''.
Questions on the missile defence ''remain to be agreed,'' US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told a news conference.
''What we cannot agree upon today, is the deployment in Europe of a missile defence which has strong anti-Russian potential,'' Russian Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov told the same news conference.
''And
we
will
continue
to
look
for
a

ground
at
the
level
of

on
this
issue.''
