Industrial output in Aug rebounds to 10.7 pc

New Delhi, Oct 12: India's industrial output in August showed a rebound as it rose 10.7 per cent from a year earlier, higher than the unexpectedly weak revised annual growth of 7.5 per cent in July due to mining, manufacturing and electricity production.

Manufacturing production rose 10.4 per cent in August from a year earlier, compared with provisional annual growth of 7.2 per cent in July.
