Arjun Singh snubs cameramen

Bhopal, Oct 12: Senior Congress leader and Union Minister for Human Resources Development Arjun Singh today flaunted a subtle blend of wit and affection to children by snubbing media cameramen and referring their gadgets as tools.

When Mr Singh rose to address a function, the cameramen swarmed in front of the dais creating a visibility problem for children sitting in front. He asked the cameramen to disperse from the front to help the children view the programme clearly. Cheered children responded with spontaneous applause.

The HRD Minister was addressing a function after laying foundation stone for construction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya building here.

Taking a jibe at tardy implementation of projects, Mr Singh commented that normally the time between foundation stone laying and building completion cannot be counted, but hoped that the Kendriya Vidyalaya building would come up in a time-frame.
