Tripura tribals party INPT supports N-deal
Agartala, Oct 11: The Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT), one of the Opposition parties in the state, has supported the Indo-US Nuclear Deal while criticising the Left Front for deadlocking the issue.
Addressing a rally here yesterday, INPT leaders favoured the Fissile Material Cutoff Treaty (FMCT) and supported the Nuclear Deal, which, they claimed, had bilateral implications for the country's economic development.
''In principle, we support the deal and feel India as well as the global community will derive benefits from it,'' INPT leaders said.
