Jabalpur, Oct 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Minister Akhand Pratap Singh has warned of stern action against those indulging in blackmarketing of kerosene and foodgrains.

''Immediately after taking charge of the department in August, I had issued irectives to launch a drive against blackmarketeers,'' Mr Singh told UNI here today, adding he would now visit all districts to assess impact of the campaign.

Claiming that action had been taken against several influential people involved in black-marketing. he said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had given a green signal to neglect political interference.

Admitting that misuse of cooking gas was rampant in hotels and restaurants, he said a drive against the misuse would be launched in cooperation with local administration and police.
