Rs seven lakh looted

Jamshedpur, Oct 11 (UNI) A group of armed dacoits here today looted Rs seven lakh from an employee of a construction company at Garam Nala area under Bistupur police station area.

Police said one Sunil Kumar Gupta, employee of J P Enterprises Construction Company, was travelling in a motorbike to his office after withdrawing the amount from a nearby UTI bank.

Four miscreants, riding two motorbikes, intercepted the man and snatched the bag containing the money and fled immediately.

A theft case was registered with the Bistupur police station, police said adding that no one arrested so far.
