Hetero Drugs inks MoU with Thailand's Pharmaceutical

Bangkok, Oct 11 (UNI) India's Hetero Drugs Co has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thailand's Pharmaceutical Organisation to help manufacture of anti-AIDS medication for worldwide sales.

The company will transfer AIDS medicine know-how free of charge, so that Thailand can get World Health Organisation (WHO) certification.

Hetero Drugs will also help the pharmaceutical agency to set up and design a production plant at an estimated cost of 850 million Baht, with an annual capacity of two billion tablets.

Public Health Minister Mongkol Na Songkhla presided over the MoU signing ceremony here today.
