Gujjar women disrupt traffic on Delhi-Mumbai NH 3

Dholpur, Oct 11(UNI) Gujjar women today blocked traffic on the Delhi-Mumbai National Highway at Dholpur in protest against the withdrawal of the Gujjars Jail Bharo agitation.

Moroli surpanch Gudi Devi led hundreds of women from the community to the street at Gujjar colony, shouting slogans against Gujjar Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti convenor Col Kirori Singh Bainsla and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. They also burnt effigies of both the leaders.

The protest lasted for about 15 minutes and vehicular movement come to a standstill with long queues of vehicles on both sides of the road. The traffic movement was restored after the protestors dispersed.
