Empire State Building to go green for Eid
New York, Oct 11 (UNI) The city's landmark Empire State Building will join the Eid festivities by donning a green hue.
The city's tallest skyscraper will be lit up green to mark the biggest Muslim festival.
This is the first time that the building will be illuminated for Eid. The lighting will become an annual event following in the tradition of the yearly lightings for Christmas and Hannukah, local media reported officials as saying.
Eid ul-Fitr, the biggest festival in the Muslim calendar, marking the end of the holy month of Ramzan, will be celebrated here from tomorrow, depending on the sighting of the new moon.
