Dr Paul elected as 'IMAGES' President

Kochi, Oct 11: Renowned gynaecological endoscopic surgeon Dr P G Paul has been elected as the President of the Indian Society of Minimal Access and Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery (IMAGES), a national body of endoscopic and uro-gynaecological surgeons.

Dr Paul, Chairman, Pauls Hospital, Kochi, was elected during the recent two-day international live workshop on advanced endoscopy and ART conference here.

A leading gynaecological endoscopic surgeon in the country, Dr Paul had expertise in sonography, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, microsurgery and assisted reproduction. He had more than 25,000 advanced surgeries to his credit and had trained over 1,000 doctors.

He is the first Indian to be inducted as a Member of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, American Society of Reproductive Medicines.
