Indian Minister Nominated On IPU Panel

New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) India's Minister of State for Human Resource Development D Purandareswari has been nominated on a Drafting panel of Inter Parliamentary Union Committee on United Nations Affairs, officials reported today.

The Drafting Committee is working on modalities of proposed IPU-UN cooperation.

Currently in Geneva, Switzerland for an IPU meet, Purandareswari was nominated to the panel yesterday, officials said.
