Chargesheet against excise deputy commissioner in DA case

Patna, Oct 10 (UNI) Bihar State Vigilance Bureau today submitted chargesheet against twelve people, including Deputy Commissioner (Excise) Soney Lal Hembrum, in a case relating to forgery, cheating and disproportionate assets.

The chargesheet was submitted by the Bureau under the various sections of Indian Penal Code and prevention of corruption act against Mr Hembrum, his wife, his son and nine others before the designated judge S.K.Panwar.

According to the charges, Mr Hembrum had amassed wealth of Rs over 2.62 crore which was disproportionate to his known sources of income during 1988-1999.
