UP: BSP workers vehicle kills two

Sultanpur, Oct 10: Two persons were killed and one other was grievously injured after being crushed by a speeding vehicle at Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway here late last night, police said today.

A truck driver Laeek Ahmad (17) and cleaner Ashok (11) along with one companion were standing on road side, when a vehicle carrying BSP workers ran over them.

Ashok and Ahmad died on the spot, whereas their companion was admitted to hospital in critical condition.

According to sources, the accident took place near Raniganj village, where some vehicles, carrying BSP workers, were returning from the party rally held at Lucknow yesterday. One of the speeding vehicle lost its control and ran over them.
