Musharraf calls for unity

Islamabad, Oct 07 2007: Pakistani military ruler Pervez Musharraf on Saturday calls for the country to unite behind him after presidential election wins. Musharraf easily won the presidential election today, with 252 of 257 votes in the National Assembly and the Senate.

Musharraf also asked the people not to heed any calls for agitation by lawyer Lawyers, who have led a campaign against Musharraf in recent months.
