Protestors
of
the
Gujjar
community
today
took
out
a
protest
rally
in
New
Delhi
to
demand
Schedule
tribe
status
and
reservation
in
top
educational
institutions
in
the
country.
The protestors demanded the removal of Vasundhara Raje, chief minister of northwestern Rajasthan state, and the dismissal of her government. The protesters said that Raje and BJP had let the Gujjar community down. They shouted slogans and even burned an effigy of Raje to express their ire.
