Case against lecturer for 'derogatory' remarks

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (UNI) The city police today booked a case against a lecturer of a private college for his alleged derogatory remarks against a particular community, that created a tense situation at the college a for a while.

Police said, the students of Narayana college here, protesting the remarks of the lecturer Narayan Reddy, boycotted the classes and pelted stones, damaging the windows of the college building.

However, no one was arrested in this connection and investigation was on, police said.
