Car bomb in Spanish city, one wounded
MADRID, Oct 9 (Reuters) A car bomb today exploded in the northern city of Bilbao in Spain's Basque Country, wounding a local politician's bodyguard, the government said.
State radio and newspapers earlier reported that the bodyguard had died but the Interior Ministry said he had been wounded but not killed.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing, but it came just days after a judge arrested most of the top leaders of radical separatist party Batasuna, which is banned for links to ETA guerrillas.
