Blast at weapons factory near Rome injures three
ROME, Oct 9 (Reuters) At least three people were injured today in an explosion at a weapons factory near Rome, police said. The cause of the blast was not immediately clear.
The plant at Colleferro, southeast of Rome, belongs to Simmel Defence, which manufactures ammunitions, explosives, missile warheads and rockets for the armed forces in Italy and abroad, according to the company's website.
