Itanagar, Oct 9 (UNI) The All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) would soon carry out 'Operation Clean Drive' at Mebo Sub-Division under East Siang district for detection and extradition of illegal Bangladeshi migrants from the area.

The move would be a part of the union's second phase of operation launched in the district, sources said here today.

The union would also launch a motorcycle rally in and around Pasighat township for creating mass awareness against the presence of these illegal immigrants, who pose a threat to the indigenous social fabric of the state, sources added.

Meanwhile, AAPSU has decided to convene a special session here to review the union's constitution on October 25 next.

The special session has been necessitated to incorporate and do away with certain shortcomings in the union constitution for a much more vibrant AAPSU, sources said.

A three-member panel has been constituted for the session with AAPSU federal assembly speaker Pritam Wai Sonam as chairman, Tenzing Sonam as vice chairman and Tobom Dai as member secretary.
