Rupee up by 6 paise at 39.43 per USD

Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate at Rs 39.43 per US Dollar.

The reference rate rose by six paise as compared to previous rate of Rs 39.49 per USD on Friday (October 5, 2007), an RBI spokesperson said.
