JD(S) leader Vijay Sankeshwar resigns from party
Hubli, Oct 8 (UNI) Former Lok Sabha member and JD(S) leader Vijay Sankeshwar today resigned from the party in protest against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy not keeping his promise in handing over the Chief Minister's post to the BJP.
In his resignation letter sent to party President H D Devegowda he accused the former Prime Minister of 'indulging' in caste and family politics and being responsible for the fall of the JD(S)-BJP coalition government in the state, Mr Sankeshwar, a noted businessman said in his letter.
