Delhi CPI objects to CM's remarks on blueline buses
New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) Taking great exception to Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's statement about Badarpur accident, the Delhi unit of the CPI today demanded that the Delhi Government phase out Blueline buses and increase the DTC fleet.
''The state Government should take the latest accident seriously and make efforts to strengthen public transport system...,'' the party said.
Ms Dikshit had reportedly expressed helplessness in checking the rampaging Blueline buses.
It also demanded that contract system be ended within the DTC and a complete ban on Blueline buses found violating traffic regulations.
