Suspended BJP MLA to resign from MLA's post
Rajkot, Oct 7 (UNI) Suspended BJP leader Siddharth Parmar, a close confidante of former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel, today said he would resign from MLA's post in protest against its decision not to give land to a poor dalit family.
Speaking to UNI tonight, Mr Parmar said he would submit his resignation to the Assembly Speaker tomorrow at Gandhinagar.
A Dalit family of Vekri village of Junagadh district were fasting for several days to get back the government land in which they were farming since several years, he said adding.
A 21-year-old youth Sugam had died while on fasting.
