GGP candidate files nomination papers

Bhopal, Oct 7 (UNI) Gondwana Ganatantra Party (GGP) candidate Rajeshwar filed his nomination papers yesterday for the assembly by-election in Lanji constituency in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh, official sources said.

The notification for the by-election was issued yesterday. The last date for the filing of papers is October 12. Scrutiny would take place on October 13, while names could be withdrawn by October 15.

Polling would be held on October 30 and the counting would take place on November 3.

Lanji seat was vacated following the demise of party legislator Dilip Bhatere.
